Shape & Style - Brand new European eyeglasses for men or women. Club LA model 5502. Their rectangular design was inspired by 1960s fashion and they are very much in style today. These frames come with removable cellulose acetate inserts - the inner colored part of the frame can be removed to create a thinner rectangular frame. We recommend that you have your optician remove them for you if you prefer wearing them without the inserts. These frames have wonderful detail: the nose pads and temple tips are handmade and come in the same color and material as the inserts. (Cheaper versions of this type of frame use injected plastic and are mass produced.) The metal parts on these frames are actually monel, a special type of alloy.

Color - Available in pewter with blond inserts (color 221M), black with olive tortoise inserts (color 195M), antique gold with black inserts (color 28M), and antique gold with dark tortoise inserts (color 230).
