Rare Vintage Louis Feraud Women's Caraibe Kissing Fish Sunglasses Collectible
- Shape & Style - Collectible, never used, Louis Feraud model Caraibe designer vintage sunglasses for women. Model "Cariabe" is a signature Louis Feraud piece and was part of the collection called "Kissing Fish." And, in fact, the frames look like two kissing fish, with two rhinestones on the bridge representing the eye of the fish. The tails of the fish create an elongated cat eye shape. These frames are a piece of art - only 150 pieces of these were produced and they are numbered. This piece is number 37, as marked inside the left temple, which reads "serie limitee n. 37/150" (limited series). They can be worn as sunglasses and they can function as a fantasy mask. A truly priceless and rare pair of sunglasses for any lover of eccentric vintage designer fashion!
- Color - yellow, black, white and red - are also like tropical fish.
- Dimensions - Lens width: 50 mm; lens height: 36 mm; bridge: 24 mm; temples: 135 mm; total width (temple to temple): 126 mm. Frames come with pinkish brown gradient 100%UV400 CR-39 plastic lenses. They can, of course, be filled with a prescription or replaced with different color lenses.
- General - These frames were made in France in the 1990s and part of a liquidation sale of great quality unused 'new old stock' (NOS) -- direct from the manufacturer.
