Brand new vintage Persol Ratti 09175 plastic black unisex eyeglasses for men or women. These vintage designer frames have a rectangular, squared out shape. They have an almost flat top, high-set bridge, and thin temples - all of which mark a classic 1980s retro look. The frames have the Persol trademark, the silver arrow detail, on the outside of the temples. Inside the right temple, they are marked "Persol 09175," and inside the left temple they are marked "Ratti Made in Italy."

These frames were manufactured in Italy in the 1980s, and they are part of our old stock of unused inventory - direct from the manufacturer.

About Persol:

Founded in 1917 by Giuseppe Ratti, Persol is an Italian eyewear company. The name is derived from “per il sole,” which means “for the sun” in Italian. The company originally catered to pilots and sports car drivers with the line’s sports wear focus and durability. Persol was introduced to the States in 1962. Early on, the brand was popularized by Steve McQueen and, later, Don Johnson and Tom Cruise, to name a few of the many celebrities who have sported Persol.
