Vintage avant-garde geometric butterfly eyeglasses. Made in Austria in the 90s
The lenses are oval-shaped but are suspended inside a much wider, angular outer wire frame, leaving open gaps at the corners and bottom.
The heavy black top bar creates a sharp, architectural, multi-sided geometric silhouette. The outer edges of the frame flare outward mimicking the wings of a butterfly.
Lens width: 58mm; bridge width: 14mm; temple length: 135mm
Top bar & outer upper frame is Matte charcoal black. The lower rim is tortoiseshell or demi-amber pattern. It features mottled spots of honey gold, amber, and dark brown. Lenses have a brown-to-clear gradient tint.
